: It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate information is read thoroughly.

: Always disconnect both battery cables before beginning work on the SRS system. Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

.

Make the SRS system safe.

.

Remove the instrument panel upper section.

.

Remove the passenger air bag module.   Remove the 4 nuts.

.

:   Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only. Remove the passenger air bag module bracket.   Remove the 2 nuts.

.

Install the passenger air bag module bracket.   Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

Install the passenger air bag module.   Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

.

Install the instrument panel upper section.
